Saeyeon Jang is studying illustration at the University of Brighton. The work presented in the exhibition is The Little Neighbour, a children’s picture book that they both wrote and illustrated. The images are made using photographs of handcrafted sets and models, which help bring the story to life with a sense of warmth and texture. They are also displaying the initial sketches and final character models to show the making process, from early concept to finalised book illustration.
