Otto Wren is a 23-year-old interdisciplinary Illustration student based in Brighton. Drawing upon the core of their experiences, they twist them into visual snippets of life. Their work explores contemporary socio-political issues; the gothic and the psychological; and the multidimensional, expansive nature of time. Oil paints were their first love, never fully leaving their side and now reluctantly sharing this space with Digital Art.
Otto received an Art Foundation Diploma from Arts University of Bournemouth in 2021. In April 2025, their work was showcased at Peckham Levels, London, in the show Have You Seen This Apple, a collection of work based upon aphantasia – the inability to mentally visualise. Their creative efforts are currently focused on graphic design, as the Social Media Sec. for the UoB Panthers men’s hockey team, and painting whatever speaks to them.
