For this exhibition Emily Farren decided to explore rock art iconography that she stumbled across after researching folklore. She loved using collage as a way to place together compositions in these chaotic environments in these fantasy worlds based on rocks. She also wanted to create something otherworldly about these seemingly simple rocks that get overlooked and highlight the forgotten meaning of these symbols.
